1940s Royal Copley Vase Dark Green Ivy Pattern

A beautiful cream-colored Royal Copley Vase with dark green raised ivy hand decorating front; black pedestal base. Made in USA by Royal Copley 1940’s to 1950. This is a fabulous piece of Royal Copley history. Royal Copley was made by the Spaulding China Co, of Sebring, Ohio from 1939 to 1960. The ivy pattern was one of their most well-known designs. Made out of ceramic and glazed. Artist applied stylized “N” artist mark on lower section of vase.

Very good condition. No breaks or repairs. There is fine crazing on the surface as expected in vintage pottery. There is also a very small chip in the base on one of the fluted base feet. It is under the vase and not very noticeable. Also several small hairlines at the rim of the vase. This is a really charming vase that would be perfectly at home on a shelve or on a table.

Measures 7 ¼ inches high by 2 3/4″ inches in opening diameter, 11 ¼ circumference around middle of vase.
