Pre-owned.  Vintage Sonoran Desert Plush Antelope Jackrabbit. Excellent condition; includes original tags.

This vintage Sonoran Desert plush antelope jackrabbit is a charming addition to any collection. Made by Resort Gifts Limited in the 1980s, this plush toy features a mixture of grey, brown and white colors and is made of polyester material. It has been recommended for all ages and is perfect for anyone who loves beanbag plush toys. This antelope jackrabbit was manufactured in China and is a unique find for collectors.

The Jackrabbit has the same creamy color fabric on its paws with black thread to indicate toes. This baby Jackrabbit has a grey brown soft fur with a cute little black and white furry puffy tail. His nylon whiskers protrude from his face about 2 inches. Plastic brown and black eyes. Made of polyester fabric. Washable and tumble dry. Originally handmade for a division of Sonoran Stuffed plush animals Resort Gifts Limited Inc. in Tempe AZ. This is the last plush animal I have in my inventory from this company. It has a tushy tag and hang tag. No tears, holes, rips, or stains in excellent condition.  Nice gift for any rabbit/jackrabbit collector.

Measurements:  Body 11 1/2 inches in height, 5 1/2 inches in width and 6 inches in  length. Ears are 4 1/2 inches high with a creamy light fabric inside. This extenuates and gives extra dimension to the ears.

Antelope Jackrabbits are actually a hare not a rabbit. Baby jackrabbits are  called leverets. The overside footlong ears allow it to hear the faintest of sounds and predators. Jackrabbits run very fast with bursts of up to 50 miles per hour. Antelope Jackrabbits are the largest rabbits in the western hemisphere.  Lepus Alleni is a species of North American hare found in southern Arizona and northwestern Mexico that occupies dry desert areas.
