Description
Vintage. Hand-painted Japanese ceramic jug depicting a rooster and farmhouse with trees and fence. It is light brown with dark brown accents; rooster is blue, country yellow house in background jug for oil. The cork stopper still has the original Ceramic cap and cork. The jug has the original label. It has a made by Relco Japan sticker on bottom.
The ceramic jug measures approximately 5 and 1/2 inch high and 2 inches across the bottom. No cracks. Slight indentation on lip of jug and light crazing for being over 50 years old.
A perfect addition to your kitchen design of Rosters, cruet, or little jug collections. It would also look cute in the kitchen in a shadow box.
