Old North American Indian design. Burden-Carrier Figure Symbol. These are hanging Burden-Carrier figure round shaped earrings with a copper finish. The design is not seen on jewelry often so this is a unusual pair of earring. Measures 1 1/8 inches. They are light and will not weigh your ear down.

Very detailed design the burden carrier she or he figure has a shepherd crock carrying a HoHokam basket. The basket in their everyday lives, contain the work we must do in this life. But with the shepherd crock it is the staff of faith which is the inter knowledge and our burdens are lessened. This was one of my best-selling jewelry lines in my former store.
