Description

New Old Store Stock. Originally purchased for my former store in 1986.

This vintage sterling silver band is light and understated, with a a hogan village scene and a contemporary design in which the silver narrows as it moves around the finger. The ring was made by Navajo Gibson Gene, who specialized in an sterling silver overlay designs that show images or tell stories–hence, the term “storyteller ring.” The artist has texturized the background of the design–when you really study the ring, you realize a lot of work went into creating detail in a small space. Would make a lovely gift for a special someone.

The ring is Size 6, and it is about 3/8″ wide at the thickest part, narrowing to just under 1/4″. Weighs 4g. Carries a STERLING stamp and artist hallmark on the interior. Some tarnish but sparkles in the light.

Items that I sell that are marked vintage, antique or collectible may show some signs of wear to the original boxes or original package when available. See pictures for detail. All of my items come from a smoke-free environment. I do combine shipping on multiple items.
