1950s Retro Ovenex Starburst Pattern Loaf Pan for Bread Baking

Vintage 1950’s Ovenex Starburst Loaf Pan for Bread Baking. The design is a Starburst pattern pressed inside and outside the pan. Made very sturdy out of Aluminized Steel and has a rolled edge. It has a Retro Farmhouse or Americana look. Great addition to your kitchen or collection display Mid-century. Would look great on a counter or shelve holding items.  They do not make pans like this anymore. In very good condition for its age because I have had it packed away for years. Its time to let some one else enjoy this mid-century treasure.

I do not want to clean it because someone may want the old platina look for display decorating. No rust that I can see. Made in the USA.

History of the company: “STARBURST OVENEX LOAF PAN”. Metal with a repeating pattern all-around of a circle with rays coming out of it. This pattern is pressed into the metal. Inside the bottom of each pan is raised lettering that reads, “OVENEX N 7- 1LB.” U.S.A.” EKCO started making Ovenex baking pans in 1945 and continued for 20 years. Ekco company started in 1903 making military boxes. First mess kit issued to World War I was made by Ekco.
