Vintage European Gold Gilt Porcelain Hand Painted Plate

Vintage European design Gold Gilt Porcelain Plate. Hand Painted little pink & blue flowers with green leaves. 6 1/2 inch diameter.

This vintage very pretty hand painted plate with Forget Me Nots flowers.  Gold gilded beading fills most of the edge of the plate. A few small, tiny dots on raised beading are missing from the edging but does not deter from the overall beauty of the plate. On the edge it has a cluster of 3 small dainty flowers in pink, blue and green leaves outlined in gold. Between the flowers it looks like a ripped ribbon painted in gold. It has a gold raised medallion in the middle of the plate which could mean it is made in Bavaria. Or it could be the trademark or crest of this pattern.

Stamped “Hand Painted” in green on back.  It could be made in England, France or Germany. In Excellent Condition, without chips, cracks, crazing or scratches. It looks like Bone China. I do not think this plate was ever used. Measures 6 1/2 inch. It was one of my mother’s plates that she collected but was always packed safely away in a box with other treasures handed down to me. I would like to have someone else enjoy the small hand decorated plate. It looks like it should be used for a Victorian Afternoon Tea Party.
