Vintage Hobnail Iridescent Gold Carnival Glass Egg Dish. Made in USA. In exceptional condition for its vintage/antique age.

This beautiful vintage contemporary hobnail Iridescent Gold Carnival Glass was made by the Indiana Glass Company USA during the late 1960s or early 1970s. Number 1213. With 15 compartments, this round dish is perfect for serving deviled eggs and other delicious appetizers. The egg dish shines and sparkles in golden hues when light illuminates it; you can also see other brilliant colors reflecting through it. The underside of the plate has a hobnail pattern, with scalloped edges. It is a heavy weight and holds the deviled eggs you make in place. The dish features a beautiful iridescent amber gold carnival glass finish with a beaded edge pattern that adds a touch of elegance to any table setting.

Crafted by a subsidiary of Lancaster Colony Corporation, this egg relish dish is an original piece that is both decorative and functional. The dish is dishwasher safe, but I would hand wash it.

Measures 11 inches in length, 11 inches in width, and 1 1/2 inches in height. It weighs 4 lbs. It is designed in an Art Deco style that is perfect for any occasion. In 2002, glassmaking at Indiana Glass, Dunkirk, ceased.
