Vintage Patriotic Scotsman Bagpipes Tin Canister Silver Crane Co England.

The humorous tin of the bagpiper is what captures the color and pride of England’s national costumes. The Scotsman is in a traditional Royal Stewart Tartan, Glengarry Cap with purple heather and thistle pin with ribbons that hang down the back.  Hanging in front is a Highland Sporran pouch with a detailed thistle and 3 tassel design.

Silver Crane Company is known for their Beautiful 3D visuals. The tin canisters are finely detailed artwork focuses on color and impact. With very colorful and bright details that pop. The colors blend nicely together on this canister red, navy, purple, white, black, blue, and pewter. You can tell the metal tin is of the highest quality. I was in England last year and brought back small tins made by Silver Cane company with breath mints for gifts to give to friends and family for the holidays. They were little works of art. Everyone loved them.

This was my mother’s tin and placed it in her curio cabinet on display with other Scottish items. The cute metal canister has never been used for anything and it has stayed empty in her display case.

I have had it packed away for many years after she gave it to me.  In excellent condition with no rust or scratches and clean.  Bottom of tin has a very small indent. The canister has a secure lid and can be used for storage or display. Unique addition to any collection. This would make a very nice gift with a box of Scottish shortbread cookies you include. Perfect decoration on the table for an afternoon tea party.
